Full-Time Teen Program Director

The AmeriCorps Teen Program Director will be responsible for implementing College- and Career-readiness programs for junior high and high school students. Experience in counseling and/or advising students on barriers to success will be considered a plus. The position is full time, 36-40 hours per week, and requires evenings and some weekends, as well as some travel.

This is a 1700-hour contract that goes from September 2020 until August 2021

Benefits: $634 bi-weekly stipend plus an education award of $6,195 upon successful completion of year of service, health care, child care, and up to 340 hours of professional development.

Full-Time Education Director

The AmeriCorps Education Directors are responsible for providing daily service the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, and sharing experience and volunteer opportunities. Experience in planning and implementing high-yield educational activities is a plus. The position is full time, 36-40 hours per week, and requires evenings and some weekends, as well as some travel.

This is a 1700-hour contract that goes from September 2020 until August 2021

Part-Time Education Coordinator

Indy AfterSchool Corps members serve in afterschool programs at community based host sites in neighborhoods of high poverty. Roles and responsibilities will vary by service site. Responsibilities include providing education and career development programs to youth, ages 5–18 years; implementing daily activities including: tutoring, conflict resolution, health and safety, enrichment and clubs; recruitment and support of additional volunteers at sites to build organizational capacity; and spreading the AmeriCorps vision and visibility within the host site community.

The position is part time, averaging 20-25 hours per week, and requires evenings and some weekends, as well as some travel.
This is a 900-hour contract that goes from September 2020 until August 2021.

Benefits: $225 bi-weekly stipend plus an education award of $3,097 upon successful completion of year of service and up to 180 hours of professional development.
